COMMON FUTURE Congress on Reconstruction of Ukraine is coming to Poznań International Fair on October 7-8 - experts from Poland, Ukraine, Europe will discuss the challenges of reconstruction in Ukraine.

On Monday, October 7, at 11:00 a.m., a two-day Congress on Reconstruction of Ukraine COMMON FUTURE will begin on the grounds of the Poznań International Fair. The event will bring together a wide range of specialists, entrepreneurs and government representatives from many countries, local governments and international institutions to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to the reconstruction of Ukraine and its EU perspective.

Poland plays a key role in providing humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine. It will also have a crucial role in its reconstruction process. This is due to its geographic proximity, strong trade ties that make Poland one of Ukraine's most important trading partners, and the growing entrepreneurship of Ukrainians in Poland. In addition, there are more than 600 Polish companies with experience in the Ukrainian market, and more than 460 regional, city and municipal partnerships between the two countries provide a solid foundation for cooperation.

The COMMON FUTURE Ukraine Reconstruction Congress is the second edition of the event, which will bring entrepreneurs, politicians and other decision-makers closer to the challenges and prospects of rebuilding Ukraine's economy and society.

Congress participants will be welcomed on October 7 by the organizer, on whose behalf Tomasz Kobierski, President of the MTP Group, will speak, together with content partners: Jacek Piechota, President of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Jan Stylinski, President of the Polish Association of Construction Employers, and Andrzej Dycha, President of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

Inaugural speeches will be given by: Krzysztof Paszyk, Minister of Development and Technology, Paweł Kowal, Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine at the Polish Prime Minister, and Jan Szyszko, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. Andriy Sadovy, mayor of Lviv, and guests from Lithuania, Slovakia, Romania will also take the stage.

Congress participants will be able to take part in panel discussions on four thematic stages, which will enable a comprehensive discussion of the challenges of rebuilding Ukraine.

The Strategic Stage - hosted by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce - will focus on issues related to Ukraine's modernization and reconstruction plans and the future of the labor market in Poland and Ukraine, but also the role of women in the Ukrainian economy.

The Construction Stage - hosted by the Polish Association of Construction Employers - will take up topics related to the geopolitical and macroeconomic conditions for cooperation in infrastructure reconstruction, with a particular focus on the construction sector. Recognized experts and columnists will outline the current situation in Ukraine.

The Professionals' Stage - hosted by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency - will offer practical advice on doing business in Ukraine. We will hear from representatives of Polish companies operating there and experts on the Ukrainian economy.

The Good Practices Stage - hosted by the MTP GROUP - will address, among other issues, support for war veterans and their integration into the economy through the development of new skills. Local governments from the Kharkiv Region will also be presented, outlining their situation related to reconstruction from war damage.

The COMMON FUTURE Ukraine Reconstruction Congress will provide an opportunity to establish key partnerships and a deeper understanding of Ukrainian realities. During the event, the signing of financial cooperation agreements between Polish and Ukrainian banks and institutions is planned.
