Three dimensions of a useful city – the perspective of brain research. Maciej Błaszak speaks at the D&A Forum – ARCHI-STRADA 2026
We welcome Dr. Maciej Błaszak, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University, to the group of speakers at the D&A Design and Architecture Forum. He is an expert in the fields of cognitive science, biology, and the humanities. During his lecture, he will introduce listeners to the multidimensionality of cities from a neuroscientific perspective.

Maciej Błaszak, PhD, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań – cognitive scientist, biologist, habilitated doctor of humanities, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
Scholarship holder at the University of Kiel (DAAD Scholarship) and the University of Edinburgh (Tempus Scholarship). Lecturer at the Kozminski University in Warsaw, the Poznań University of Economics, and the SWPS University in Poznań. His research interests include the epigenesis of the mind, i.e., the possibility of shaping the human brain under the influence of environmental stimuli. He deals with the psychology of universal design, business psychology, and education inspired by brain research. For years, he has been conducting training courses and expert lectures for management staff and education leaders. Author and co-author of five monographs and dozens of scientific articles.
