With thermal imaging, even in total darkness, we are able to conduct surveillance of an area. Where the range of infrared illumination in a classic camera ends there the thermal imaging camera further allows unobstructed observation. The algorithms used in the camera allow it to effectively detect heat sources or fires even at long distances. This real-time capability allows thermal cameras to detect fires early, even before the flames develop and the fire gets out of control, threatening people's lives or causing significant damage.

ViDiLine's VIDI-IPC-TH-256 and VIDI-IPC-TH-256SD bispectral cameras allow two images to be superimposed on top of each other, detailing the classic image with heat spots and temperature measurements. Temperature measurements are made for: whole screen, point on screen, line and up to 12 temperature measurement areas.
