Organizer:

ENERGOBUILD - Energy management in a building

Experts and specialists, will have the opportunity to talk about, among other things, what are modern shading techniques and what energy-saving solutions are best to use. Also raised will be the extremely important topics related to thermo-renovation and thermo-modernization, and what materials and technologies to use in these processes.

THERMOMODERNIZATION - This is a comprehensive process of improving building insulation and upgrading heating systems. It includes, among other things: insulation of walls, roof, foundations, replacement of windows and doors with energy-efficient ones. The result is a reduction in heat loss, lower bills, better thermal comfort and an increase in property value

THERMORENOVATION - focuses on insulating the building envelope. It also includes educational activities related to efficient heat management.

The ENERGOBUILD thematic salon will provide an opportunity to learn about issues related to:

  • Materials and technologies for thermal insulation and thermal modernization
  • Energy-saving and passive solutions
  • Photovoltaics and heat pumps, recuperation, solar collectors
  • Shading techniques
  • Air conditioning and ventilation technologies
  • Energy storage
  • Equipment for measuring the thermal insulation of a building
  • Building energy management systems

Building energy management is a scheme of activities aimed at optimizing energy consumption while maintaining occupant comfort and minimizing operating costs. This includes residential as well as commercial, industrial or public buildings.

Elements of building energy management include:

  • Monitoring and analysis of energy consumption
  • Intelligent control of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC)
  • Automatic control of lighting and electrical appliances
  • Upgrading lighting (LED)
  • Renewable energy management
  • Energy storage (e.g., lithium-ion batteries)
  • Promoting green habits
  • Incentive systems (e.g., “green offices”)
  • Building energy efficiency assessment

Effective energy management reduces bills for electricity, heating, cooling or hot water. Less energy consumption means reduced CO₂ and other pollutants.
