The Energy Advisory Project 2.0 has been launched
The Ministry of Climate and Environment reports that the new edition of the Energy Advisory Project 2.0 has been expanded to include activities related to climate change adaptation, including disaster risk management. The program is funded under the FEnIKS 2021-2027 project, with a current budget of PLN 172 million.
In addition to energy efficiency, RES and available sources of support, the new edition of the Energy Advisory Project 2.0. also includes activities related to climate change adaptation, including disaster risk management.
Free advice and consultations are available to municipalities, businesses, the housing sector (cooperatives, communities, developers), as well as residents and residents.
The project is being implemented nationwide, based on a network of professional advisors. Its partners are 16 provincial environmental protection and water management funds.
The Energy Advisory Project operates on the basis of a nationwide network of professional energy advisors who provide free assistance on low-carbon economy, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. In addition, this year's offerings have been expanded to include such topics as:
- water in urban areas (water supply systems, retention reservoirs, rainwater, rational water management);
- extraordinary environmental hazards (floods, landslides);
- closed-loop economy, including waste management.
The project also provides training (e.g., for municipal energy officers), conferences and public webinars (e.g., on Clean Air Program subsidies, My Electricity, good practices and risks in building construction or thermal modernization, building energy communities, energy conservation, rainwater retention and use, RES use and energy storage).
In the previous edition of the Energy Advisory Project, 363,000 consultations and advice were provided, resulting in advisory support for more than 5,000 investments in energy efficiency and RES. In addition, an online platform for experience sharing was established. 2360 candidates for municipal energy technicians were trained.
