Safe construction - awards and conference of the Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy at BUDMA 2025 Fair
On 11 February 2025, during the opening conference of this year's BUDMA, the winners of the national stage of the ‘Build Safely’ competition will be presented with their awards.
This competition is organised by the National Labour Inspectorate and its partner is the Agreement for Safety in Construction. The initiative aims to recognise employers - construction contractors - who ensure high health and safety standards during construction projects. The competition rewards exceptional health and safety measures taken on specific construction sites. Details of the competition can be found at www.pip.gov.pl.
The ‘Build Safely’ competition aims to promote good practice in eliminating occupational hazards and preventing accidents in the construction sector. Increasing safety in this sector is one of the main priorities in the activities of the National Labour Inspectorate. As part of the programme ‘Construction. STOP Accidents!’ training on construction sites, counselling for employers and promoting best solutions for work safety are organised throughout the country. The State Labour Inspectorate also offers free materials, for self-education, aimed at workers in the construction industry. The brochures, leaflets and health and safety cards cover topics such as workplace safety, working in excavations and the selection of technical fall protection measures.

Participation in the conference is free of charge, but due to the limited number of places, registration is required. The prerequisite for participation in the conference is to complete and send the registration form to: inspekcja@poznan.pip.gov.pl by 05 February 2025.
